The Advisory Centre for Education (ACE) is a national charity  providing advice and information to parents and carers on a wide range of school based issues including exclusion, admissions, special education needs, bullying and attendance – an excellent source of information and advice.

This website is part of the Citizens Advice service.  The Education tab gives definitions on the different types of schools available and where to search for them. It covers England, N. Ireland, Scotland and Wales and offers advice in several languages.
