Welcome to our Directory of Counsellors

Counsellors are professionaly trained and experienced at listening to people without judgement. They do not give advice, they listen to your concerns and encourage you to express your emotions. If you are feeling muddled, a counsellor can help you to see things more clearly, to have a different perspective on your life and to help you get a sense of direction. They will help you look at the options open to you.y

Finding the right counsellor for you is very important.  Your GP should be able to help point you in the right direction if you are looking for a specific model of counselling. Where possible, the counsellors in our directory have experience of working with single parents and families. It is very important when you are looking for a counsellor to make sure they hold a formal and recognised qualification. All the counsellors in our directory fall into that category.
